The treasures we walk on

.

This is a continuation of my Accidental Street Art series.

The point is, we are missing out on so much in our hectic life.

Art of course is in the eyes of the beholder.

Or actually art is in the eyes of the art critic.

Or art is by definition what billionaires store in their art bunkers, following the advice of their art consultants.

Bananas nailed to the wall require constant refrigeration, like the old man in “Bad Sisters.”

And so it goes (. . . would Vonnegut say at this point of the polemic).

“Legless Eagle” — plastic on asphalt (San Francisco)

“Discarded Eiffel Tower” — plastic on concrete (Manhattan)

“Palm Tree” — Ink on paper (Manhattan)

“Cornered Bat” — paint residue on concrete and ornamental grooves (San Francisco)

“Disunited States of America, a Tribute to the January 20, 2025 Inauguration” — disintegrated poster on concrete (San Francisco)

“Man in Hazmat Suit” — discarded plastic glove (Berkeley)

“Blue But Dissatisfied” — paint spill on linoleum (Berkeley)

“Precision Instrument” — white on pink paint spill  (Berkeley)

“Untitled” — white on pink paint spill (Berkeley)
