Nothing Resolved

It’s August already, the month after record-breaking July 2012, and nothing has been resolved.  The Republicans have NOT been coralled into an area the size of 10 acres in Nevada, to spend their time in 110 degree heat, to make them see the disadvantage of high temperatures resulting from global warming.  Mitt Romney has not released his zero-dollar tax returns.  A giant sludge of milllions of gallons of sewage works its way down the Hudson.  Japan is turning its nuclear plants back on.  Obama’s drones continue to kill foes and civilians alike.  The coral reefs are withering away.

How to end such a miserable blog?  By recounting the positives?  Well, we went to a couple of great concerts.  Yesterday I found a piece of art on the street, 2 by 2 inches.  Today I took a bike trip to the GW Bridge, and had a lot of head wind on the way back.  and, I almost forgot: Romney picked Ryan and that will be the end of his quest.
