Joachim Freivermerk

This is a beautiful specimen of Google Translate, from English original to German. My sister recently found the file again, which relates to an award I received while still at the Wadsworth Center in Albany.  For those not familiar with the German language: my last name “Frank” also means (1) free, as in “frank und frei” and (2) to officially accept and cancel the postal stamp on a letter posted, and thereby preventing it from re-use by the receiver.  Google Translate in some instances translates my name and in other instances recognizes it as a proper name, leaving it untranslated.  In the translated document I’m therefore referenced in two different ways, Joachim Freivermerk and Joachim Frank.
