Hi. 🙂 For fun, I ran this through Google translate to see if it actually meant anything.

“medog” being the mirror of “godem”, I wasn’t really expecting much. But, to my surprise I found something kind of funny.

According to the app, “go dem” means “go to them” in Krio. So, “medog godem” could actually mean something like, “my dog go(es) to them” or maybe it’s a command like, “Dog, go!”

Then “om mani inam” had a translation in Arabic, meaning, “or from me sleep”. Taken together, it could almost mean “Dog, go! Leave me to rest” or something similar maybe? I don’t know, but I found it a bit funny and thought to share it. 🙂

Thanks Mandi for sharing it. New York has purportedly 800 spoken languages, and I find it absolutely plausible that Daisy’s contemplation makes sense in a few. Still, your detective work is phenomenal!
      May dog be with you!
