Here is a brief vacation from the daily anxiety from watching our nation drift into utter chaos and madness.

I took this picture several years ago; it evokes the memory of a light breeze, summer, sounds of voices — in the distance — of children playing in the shallow water.

And it was part of a project, because this is the way my mind works: it still needs a project during vacation.

This one was a series of self-portraits just like the picture shown, but with the stones replaced by seaweed, shells, or pieces of wood.

Looking at the seemingly endless combinations under the same theme, at the end, has an effect that is quite soothing, like listening to a work by Philip Glass.
